So I was taken out to Ohio for the Mushroomhead Annual Halloween Show... It was really awesome. I saw Blue Felix live and had never seen them before (which is rather surprising). Here check them out...
They were pretty awesome! We actually went to the Slaughter House Roadshow event the night before so we did get to see everyone twice. The first show was at the Alrosa and their lead singer Toxsick Tripp literally tore the roof down... Seriously he hung upside down from the rafters of the venue and accidentally tore down the roof! Anyway, they put on the best live show I've seen since... Well, Mushroomhead. Plus Toxsick pulls off Thrift Store Chic better than anyone since the early 90's!
Then the bands always hang out at the merch counters at these shows so I got my little cousin closer to the bands. Here is us with Blue Felix, some of the nicest guys too! Go figure...
Me with Toxsick Tripp...
Bandi with Toxsick and the X-hail...
And of course who doesn't get some merch and signatures when you meet a group you enjoy? Support the art!
Then we saw Psycostick live who got big off of this song...
They were hilarious live and were highly entertaining. We of course bought the Beer is good album and the new album Space Vampires VS. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D. Got them signed and hung out with the band who were also just as nice. Especially the bassist Matty (AKA Moose!) a fellow Juggalo and overall nice guy. Whoop Whoop!
Check out this music video with a song from their new album...
And another favorite of mine...
And of course pics of us getting closer to the band...
Then came Mushroomhead! They are amazing live, Their set this year was amazing and getting to see them in their home town was nothing but inspiring! I have a large amount of respect for these guys and have been listening to them since at least the fifth grade!
Here check them out...
Then of course you've got to see their set this year!
We even got to see J Man play live with them! The original lead singer! Which was an amazing event for me!
We did get to meet the band and get autographs to. We got gold tickets so we were there for the meet and greet and even got to see them do sound check in person. Over all very over stimulating for me. Not to mention I finally acquired an official Mushroomhead mask!
Here pics...
And I even let Bandi try it on...
Over all the whole trip was really great and being able to share it with and inspire my cousin who is working to become a musician was really amazing. She got to see them play live in their town amongst the hardcore fans that made them who they are. She also got to see how they support independence and true art and give local bands a chance to open for them no matter what style or genre which is also very inspiring.
I want to thank all the bands who put so much work forth to entertain us fans. Who stay true to their art and never forget where they came from. You guys are truly f****g awesome! Respect!

Haunts.
So, I have finally been through the nearby haunts Kentucky/Indiana has to offer. Owensboro has The Slaughter on Second Street... Evansville has The Zombie Farm, The Asylum + The slaughter, The Old Catacombs + The house of lector. The Old Catacombs and The house of lector flat out suck. They have a great set up which is completely ruined by poor acting and a lack of good props. If your good at scaring people you shouldn't need to rely on power tools. Plus I was constantly missing a step or running into something not to mention I had to avoid puke at some point. Awful haunt. The Slaughter on Second Street and the Asylum were decent and worth the money to go in. The Zombie Farm is my favorite though, great stuff! For one being greeted by Skeet Gean is awesome every time. Funny guy, real nice. Overall it has great actors that are very interactive and make the whole thing a real blast. Plus the props from Gore Galore including their Goat Head prop. Over all zombie Farm is my favorite! The Asylum does have a Zombie Lurker prop from Gore Galore which is pretty Awesome to.

and last but not least our little local haunt which is fairly decent for a little local haunt.

Okay, that should cover it and give you some idea of what to expect. I'm in full support of The Zombie Farm, definitely the most fun out of them all. I'll post pictures of me at The Zombie farm as soon as they are uploaded. For now, goodnight.

My tattoo
So my tattoo is all healed and looking good! Take a look...
I gave a basic concept sketch to the artist and he ran with it and exceeded my expectations! Thanks Will!
Here is my concept sketch...
I'd say he really took it up a notch and left me with a piece anyone could be proud to wear...
It took about four hours of work and Will was easy to get along with and made the over all experience quite comfortable.

Hellraiser...
Okay it has come to my attention that Hellraiser: Revelations is a sequel and not the actual remake... First of all, I'm never satisfied with my own writing but I know I'm at least a decent writer; but if f*****g DOUG BRADLY of all people turned down my script I'd rewrite that screen play so f*****g quick... So the director Victor Garcia instead of having writer Gary J. Tunnicliffe redo his f**k up he casts someone else to play the legendary and iconic role of Pinhead... I don't know who these two A**-Clowns are but I've immediately lost all respect for them... I don't know if Doug Bradly has other reasons for not taking the role but I can't imagine he would give it up without good reason and either way I would not have made the film regardless much less RUSHED it. Hellraiser is a classic, not to mention it popped my horror movie cherry. I really am upset to hear from the first screening they showed the film was terrible and without Doug Bradly. The only thing people have seemed to agree on is the gore is executed well. F**k that though, Clive Barker created a unique story rich with plot and wasn't about the gore. well... At least there was a good thought out story there. Though the movies always had the gore factor they at least stayed true to "The Hellbound Heart" to some extent when they began and kept the story rich. No one ever gets to direct ANY of my work except for me... I will still probably watch it so whatever... I'm defiantly not paying to watch it though...
Here take a look at the "NEW" Pinhead:
F*****g A... This is like the era of unoriginal work and piss poor artists making quick money by ruining other peoples hard work by adding on to it with grade A crap...
Other than that I'm not excited about a remake but I can at the very least say I am curious... I'm really not sure what's going on with it and I'm not sure if project: Angel is a part of it but I know the guy wanted to simply redo Pinheads look himself to keep some hack job from doing anything like above.
Either way Project: Angel is a million times better looking than that straight up bargain bin garbage... Also does kind of have the look and feel of Clives current artwork.
Check out project angel:
Still not our classic Doug Bradly work of art but... After hearing about the sequel and seeing that imposter, I really can't complain...
Also Clive is apparently writing a Hellbound heart II and has just released the new comic which I hear doesn't disappoint (go figure)...

Hey stranger...
Okay, it really has been a while since I left any ridiculous banters on here so I've got your fix tonight...
Not a whole lot going on lately... Except the lease ending at the end of the month causing a desire to move back to our home town along with the stress of moving and the friendly but violent fights family's have during the whole process... But not much else.
As of writing wise... Well I haven't worked on any of my projects for some time now, maybe a week. I feel dreadfully useless because of it but I vow to finish something before the end of the summer. I will tell you I have made great progress on my screenplay and my novel which I believe will be finished much earlier than I first thought. I hope soon I will have the time to work on my bigger projects.
On another note, I have indeed begun to write poetry again! Awesome right? It's been a while and I started off rusty but we might be seeing something going on with that...
Hmm, what else... Oh I should have mentioned it but... I did in fact rent Hobo with a Shotgun when it came out on the VOD the day of and all I can say is I watched it twice in a row right then and there. It captures the ole Grind-house feel perfectly and throws gore galore at you along side a well written almost cute little love story about ye old vagabond and his always loaded boom stick. From what I saw behind the scenes there was a lot of innovative techniques used for FX and it looks brilliant all the way through. I give it five stars and a chest bump no doubt. You would be wrong to not check it out...
Also I expect to see MR. Fister in theaters in the coming years!

Bleh...
Why can't I seem to finish anything? I wouldn't say I'm lazy, perhaps easily distracted... Okay I am lazy but not when it comes to writing... All I have to do is sit here and type... I'm generally doing it anyway, so why is nothing done...
Okay... Gotta get some work done then I guess....
